Supporting local Youth in Crisis

A Light in the Dark provides a safe and therapeutic space for young people aged 16 to 30 years who either are in crisis or at risk of being in crisis. We address challenges including family relationship breakdowns, risk of homelessness, low self-esteem, drug addiction, job loss, or being expelled from school/college.

Our culturally sensitive environment offers separate gender activities and vegan food options, recognizing the specific challenges local youth face in accessing mainstream programs. We help young people overcome their current difficulties, develop more stable life situations, and advance through better life skills and independence.
